In the New Testament we read in the book of Acts about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit fifty days after the crucifixion of Christ. The disciples were all in one place and in one accord. They had reached a place of oneness that triggered the baptism in the Spirit with signs and wonders, and the result was that they were enabled to speak the Word of God with boldness (Acts 2:1-4).
We believe that there is still a greater fulfillment of the Feast of Pentecost that depends on the Body of Christ reaching a place of oneness that will trigger a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a flow of prophecy like the one described in Joel the second chapter (Joel 2:28).
This is the time for the Body of Christ to come together, in oneness, to receive the enabling of the provision of Pentecost on a greater level. “And the glory which Thou hast given Me I have given to them; that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and didst love them, even as Thou didst love Me.” (John 17:22–23, NASB)
