My next class at Shiloh University is a study of the four gospels and the life of Christ. Some of the congregants at Hale O Nā Kāula Church asked me if they could also be part of the class with me, reading the same materials so we could have a weekly gathering where we could discuss the material read. In fifteen weeks we would complete this class together.
Here you can read a short description of the class from Shiloh University:
“The most compelling and important story in history is the story of Christ. In this course, learners complete a chronological and synthetic study of the Gospels’ accounts of Christ’s birth, life, death, resurrection, and ascension. The course focuses on the time from the Incarnation to the Ascension; students will grasp a fuller understanding of Christ’s words and works, especially in light of Old Testament prophecy and cultural context. The goal of the course is that Christ will impact learners’ lives as He did those first generation followers, leading them to worship and serve Him as they minister to others.”
We will be meeting every Saturday at 6:00 pm for about one hour, starting September 8th, going for fifteen weeks. If you are interested in participating in our discussion groups and would like to receive more information about the class materials and any other information please contact us.
