Back at Shiloh

I will never forget the first time I came to Shiloh; I was with my whole family, coming all the way from Brazil right after the Feast of Passover, April of 1981. I was only fifteen years old but I had already heard so many stories about Shiloh and my heart was full of excitement.

This year I have an even greater anticipation coming to Shiloh. I am even more familiar with the stories and the biblical meaning of Shiloh, and the heart and vision of John Robert Stevens to build this place. But it is all new and alive, this is the place of the gathering of the School of Prophets.

In the Old Testament, it was at Shiloh that Hannah prayed for a son, and her son was Samuel that learned to hear the voice of the Lord and became a judge, prophet, and priest. He was the voice of the Lord to the company of prophets that cleared the land of idolatry and he anointed the first kings of Israel.

We are here again, crying before the Lord, like Hannah, to see the fruit of a seed He has planted in the hearts of His people. As Samuel ended the days of the judges and anointed a king, we here as a functioning School of Prophets are believing to prophesy the end of  an old day and proclaim the days of the Kingdom.

I am here with great anticipation and ready to see everyone who is coming to the 2012 Shiloh School of Prophets.
